YUNIQUE cat tree for indoor cats — and a nook for every pet

Highly recommend!
We are so pleased with this cat tower! It was very easy to put together, It’s as cute as can be, the price was great, and overall quality is sound. My kitten loves it. We couldn’t be happier!

STOP AND BUY!!!!! PERIOD!!!!!
If I could give 10 stars I WOULD!!!!! This cat & dog carrier is EXCEPTIONAL. The material is strong, and the zippers are well made, making it easy to assemble. This carrier will last for many years. It is roomy inside for a large cat and small dog. The little dry food dish, shoulder strap, and the rubber feet make this one of the best pet carriers I have ever owned. PLUS the price is the BEST by far.

Cat absolutely loves this
My cat loves this window seat. I've read some reviews about it not working or sticking to the window, first make sure you clean your window and the suction cups with alcohol. I did this and haven't had a problem with them staying on the window

A must buy!
I didn’t know what to expect because I purchased this bed when it was on sale for $10. But wow, I was totally blown away with how large the ‘small’ size was and how nice the quality is. I purchase beds regularly to switch them out when they get gross and this has to be in the top 5 for favorites so far. Just angry I didn’t buy extras at the time.

Where to put a cat tree in your house
The best cat tree is wasted in the wrong corner. Indoor cats pick their favorite spots by light, height and company.

Choosing a cat carrier for a flight
A cabin trip goes smoothly when the carrier fits under the seat and the cat already knows it.

Washing a corduroy dog bed
A clean bed smells better to you and to your dog. Corduroy beds with PP cotton filling are easy to keep fresh.
Choosing a cat tree for indoor cats
What a cat tree does for an indoor cat
An indoor cat has no fence to sit on and no tree trunk to scratch, so it borrows the back of the sofa and the curtains. A cat tree gives that energy a place: vertical space to climb, natural sisal posts for scratching, perches to watch the room from and a condo to hide in. Cats who climb and scratch every day are calmer, keep their claws healthy and leave the furniture alone.
How big a cat tree should you get?
Match the size to the cat and the room. A small cat tree of about 31 inches with low steps suits kittens, seniors and shy cats; the YUNIQUE Small Cat Tree comes in S, M and L so it can grow with the household. For one or two adult cats, a 39.4-inch tower with a condo and a hammock gives every cat its own level. Large cats need wider perches and a heavier base, so check the base size and the weight of the tree, not just the height.
Stability comes first
A tree that wobbles once is a tree a cat stops using. Look for a big base board, sturdy posts and a design that can stand against a wall. Place the cat tree in a corner or beside a wall, on a flat floor, and make sure the top perch is not the heaviest part. YUNIQUE trees are built on wide boards and the instructions recommend placing them against the wall for that reason.
Sisal, plush and materials
Natural sisal rope is the scratching surface cats prefer and the one that lasts. Plush or faux fur on the platforms keeps them comfortable for naps, and a removable hammock or cushion makes cleaning simple. The newer YUNIQUE towers use CARB-certified particle board; the cactus and sisal posts mix sisal with plush so cats can both scratch and rub.
Where should you put a cat tree?
Near a window, in the room where the family spends the evening, or next to the furniture the cat already scratches. Cats want to watch both the outside and their people. A window perch on the glass adds a second lookout without taking floor space.
Beyond the cat tree
The same small company also makes soft carriers for cats and small dogs up to 15 pounds, a folding travel crate for small and medium dogs, and corduroy dog beds with an anti-slip bottom that go in the washing machine.
Cat tree questions
Is a cat tree good for cats?
Yes. It gives indoor cats vertical space, a scratching surface and a safe hideout, which reduces stress and saves your furniture.
How many cat trees for 2 cats?
One tree with several levels is enough for two cats that get along; give each a perch or a condo. Cats that compete do better with a second tree or a window perch.
What are the common problems with cat trees?
Wobbling, worn sisal and platforms too small for big cats. Choose a wide base, stand the tree against a wall and replace dangling toys when they wear out.
Can the hammock be washed?
On the YUNIQUE Cat Tree with Big Hammock the hammock unhooks and is washable.
Do the carriers fit airline cabins?
The soft carriers are described as airline approved for pets up to 15 pounds; always check your airline's under-seat size before flying.
